Keihl’s Products Are Fabulous

So what are the best natural skincare products out there today? Actually, the best one is the oldest one. Kiehl’s opened for business in 1851, starting as Kiehl’s Pharmacy, and they’re still going strong. Their first product, “Blue Herbal Astringent” was used by men before or after shaving to get rid of ingrown hairs and irritation. Today, Kiehl’s Blue Herbal line is their acne treatment stuff, and personally I think it’s a great choice for those that want to go natural. The same Astringent in the original unchanged formula is just as good now as it was in 1851.

There’s probably always going to be at least two or three Kiehl’s products that I use regularly because you really can’t lose with this line. My dark circles under my eyes always bothered me until I started using their “Brightening and Line Reducing” eye cream just recently over the summer. My eyes have never looked so amazing and even if I haven’t had any sleep, the dark circles are still faded almost entirely.

Keih’s Deodorants Are Safer
Conventional deodorant sticks and antiperspirants have been blamed for a lot of scary things like cancer because of the aluminum content; Kiehl’s created a deodorant alternative that is a lotion rather than what you’re used to using as deodorant. I haven’t tried this product yet, called “Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant,” but after reading reviews and talking to some people who have used it, I can’t wait to try it out and ditch yucky regular deodorant.

Boscia Product Line
Another brand that makes some great natural skincare products is called Boscia. I’m not sure what country this line is from, I’m not even sure how to pronounce it; all I know is that a Sephora girl recommended one product to me and now I love the entire line.

Makeup Breakup Is Worth Every Penny First, they make a makeup remover that is suitable for all skin types and actually gets the job done. So many makeup removers fail to get all the eye makeup off, etc., but “Makeup Breakup Cool Cleaning Oil” by Boscia gets every stitch of makeup off your face while hydrating your skin at the same time. And the natural, healthy oils in it actually draw the yucky oil out of your face, neutralizing it. So if you’re prone to breakouts you don’t have to worry.

Like all their products, Makeup Breakup is formulated with their botanical-loving philosophy. Their acne products are all comprised of their “Botanical Blast” technology. I had given up on toners and considered them useless until I started using Boscia’s “Clear Complexion Tonic Spray With Botanical Blast.” Now I have to use the stuff; it feels great on the skin and naturally hydrates, cleans, and does everything you want a good skincare product to do.

Korres Natural Skincare Line
Korres is another great brand if you’re looking at natural-skincare-products. They are fairly new on the scene and managed to convert many to the natural side. Their “Lip Butter” comes in a several flavors and colours, and it’s amazing stuff.

The only concern with natural skincare products is that some product lines tend to use fruit extracts too liberally which is not good if you are acne-prone. Botanical extracts are best. Also, many natural-skincare-products can give you amazing results, but sometimes you have to be patient. Without the “quick fix” that sometimes comes because of the harsh chemicals in other products, you might think it isn’t working; actually, the good all-natural stuff just takes a little time to build in your skin and show you what it can do.
